Welcome to the 11th Step Boot Camp!
This site is the home for 11th Step Boot Camp retreats and seminars, along with being a home for the Matt Talbot retreats led by Deacon Dan Giblin, C.R.S.
Both Matt Talbot retreats and 11th Step Boot Camp are spiritual retreats for men and women in recovery and utilizing the 12 Steps as defined by Alcoholics Anonymous.
Addiction is a mystery at its core both for those actively addicted and those who have achieved sobriety. The steps involve the individual on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. The physical and mental can be somewhat understood, but the spiritual by its very nature is an ever expanding mystery allowing the individual to develop a relationship with a Higher Power that they are both utterly dependent upon, and never really able to understand.
Recovery retreats allow the individual to spend time away from everything that separates us from our Higher Power. They allow us to enter into silence, into the presence of God that dwells within all of us.
